Day 1

Addis Ababa – Arba Minch

Distance: Approximately 500 km Your adventure starts in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital city. After meeting your guide, we drive south through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, one of the world’s most important geological areas. Along the way, we pass beautiful lakes, volcanic landscapes, and small Ethiopian villages. We stop at viewpoints overlooking the Rift Valley lakes and enjoy the changing scenery from highlands to southern landscapes. Arrive in Arba Minch, known as the “City of Forty Springs” because of its many natural springs and beautiful surroundings. Day 2

Arba Minch – Dorze Village – Lake Chamo Boat Trip

After breakfast, we drive to the beautiful mountain village of the Dorze people. The Dorze are famous for their unique traditional bamboo houses, weaving skills, and agricultural lifestyle. Their houses are built in the shape of an elephant and can last for many years. You will experience: Traditional Dorze homes Local weaving demonstrations Traditional food preparation Beautiful mountain views In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on Lake Chamo, one of Ethiopia’s largest lakes. Day 3

Arba Minch – Konso Cultural Landscape – Jinka

This day we travel to Konso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its unique cultural landscape. The Konso people are known for: Stone terraces used for farming Traditional villages surrounded by stone walls Strong community organization Beautiful handwoven textiles Wooden statues called Waga After exploring Konso, continue to Jinka, the main town of the Omo Valley. Jinka is the cultural center of southern Ethiopia and the starting point for exploring several indigenous communities.

Day 4

Jinka – Mursi Village – Jinka

one of the highlights of the journey as we visit the Mursi people living near Mago National Park. The Mursi are one of Ethiopia’s most famous ethnic groups, known for their unique traditions, including lip plates worn by some women as a symbol of beauty and cultural identity. During the visit you will learn about: Traditional Mursi lifestyle Cattle culture Local traditions Village organization The surrounding Mago National Park offers beautiful scenery and wildlife opportunities.

Jinka – Turmi – Hamar People

we drive deeper into the Omo Valley to visit the Hamar people, one of the most well-known communities in southern Ethiopia. Turmi – Karo Village – Konso

We continue to the remote area along the Omo River to visit the Karo people. The Karo are known for: Beautiful body painting using natural materials Artistic traditions Living along the banks of the Omo River Unique cultural ceremonies After visiting the Karo village, enjoy the scenic drive back toward Konso through some of southern Ethiopia’s most beautiful landscapes.

we leave the cultural areas and enter Ethiopia’s famous coffee-growing region.
